ATTENDANCE: Students must attempt to be in class for all sessions. If a student misses 3 classes, the student is
dropped from the class. Citrus College
has a waiting list and there are many students who want to be added to the

GRADING: Pass, No Pass, or Satisfactory Progress
Satisfactory Progress – Student has
made progress and it is recommended that the student repeat the class to
strengthen his/her skills.

WORK:
Work for
this class may include all or some of the following: class participation, in-class assignments,
quizzes, tests, and homework.
LEARNING OUTCOMES: The focus of this class will be on learning to do the
following in American English: listen,
speak, read, and write.
ACADEMIC HONESTY: It is expected that all work
submitted for grading is original, not copied from others, and that the work
being graded is indeed done by the student who is receiving the grade. Cheating or plagiarizing will result in a
zero on the assignment or test and may result in suspension, failure in the
course, and/or other disciplinary action taken by the College.
